The charity makes grants to individuals and organisations within Tuxford and West Markham.  It's focus is for general charitable purposes, education and training, the relief or poverty and for religious activities.  Grants are made to children and young people, the old and elderly, those disabled and to other charitable bodies.

CHURCH LANDS CHARITY KNOWN LOCALLY AS CHURCH MAINTENANCE TRUST NO 1

The purpose of CHinK (Children in Kenya) is to provide and run a school in Mtwapa, Mombasa. The aim of CHinK and its school is to educate and care for over 200 very poor and needy children from the age of 3. Many of the children are from destitute families hit particularly hard by the world-wide economic crisis; some are orphaned.

Provision of grants to children of Tuxford, Nottinghamshire for purpose of education and further education.

The overall aim is to improve the quality of life for people disadvantaged by economic restructuring, rural isolation and social exclusion in the communities of Tuxford and its surrounding areas

TUXFORD MINE OF INFORMATION LTD

We serve our local community and the wider regional, national and international community by running fundraising events throughout the year in order to raise money to help clubs, charities, organisations and individuals who need or seek our help. Our members also provide 'hands on' assistance as and when we are able to do so.

Raising monies to sustain a village sports field ammenity.

The council maintains the field - grass and hedges - and encourages its use for sporting activities.
