Grant to Haringey Play Association

The funding will be used to carry out a community rebuild of an area of the adventure playground. The project aims to develop a space that allows children to learn new skills while improving their psychical emotional social mental health & well-being.

Somerford Grove Adventure Playground -The Big Build #2

Activity club and holiday sessions for up to 225 girls living in Haringey. By attending sessions girls will improve their confidence, gain essential skills and be more physically active and well.

The group will use the funding to renovate play facilities for children in the local area. This will improve the local environment and create facilities that can be enjoyed by the local community.

Somerford Grove Adventure Playground - The Big Build!

The funding is for providing food donations twice a week along with collecting small household items, used clothes, toys, dvds, books for children to donate to families in need. Used items to be handed out during our food distribution days twice a week.

Grant to Haringey Play Association to support the organisation through COVID19

Providing food, hot meals and play resource packs and equipment for disadvantaged young people and families

UK Youth Fund YAF

Youth sessions and YouTube project. The wider aim of the scheme is: To deliver onward grants to increase positive activities for young people by delivering extra sessions in youth clubs for the financial year 2019/20

The funding will be used to facilitate the management of a community playground for local children and their families. The project aims to improve access to local facilities and promote physical activity.

Cook Eat Play Friday Club

This project will fund healthy eating sessions for children and young people from Haringey who are from low economic backgrounds. Children will experience a healthier lifestyle, improve essential life skills and increase their self-esteem.

Activity club & holiday sessions for up to 330 girls living in the most deprived area of Haringey. By attending sessions young people will increase their self-esteem, gain essential life skills & improve their leadership skills.

PlayWay training (course for understanding/supporting children/young people’s play’), safeguarding qualification and first aid course - for 10 NEET/long-term unemployed, 16yrs+.

Haringey Play Association (HarPA)

This project will open up their adventure playground and offer a programme of activities for the community each week. This will encourage people from diverse communities to develop new friendships and skills that will lead to healthier lifestyles and improved wellbeing.

Friday Club - Play For All

Haringey Play Association supports and develops opportunities for all children and young people to be able to experience and enjoy high quality play provision, through supporting groups and individuals and providing direct services across Haringey and London.
