AFF communuity grant

The funding will be used to employ a part-time Community Support Worker who will help with the day-to-day running of the project  enabling it to better support volunteers deliver activities and improve customer relations. This aims to reduce isolation and improve wellbeing.

Bright Futures - Community Support

Funding under Sport England's COVID-19 Community Emergency Fund funding programme for a Revenue project titled COVID-19 CEF. This project lists its main activity as Sport participation and capacity building.

The funding will be used to deliver their wellbeing service which involves telephone support and delivering healthy meals to vulnerable people at risk of isolation. The aim is to support people during the current COVID-19 pandemic to help reduce isolation and improve wellbeing.

The funding aims to engage with the wider local community, particularly with young people, teaching valuable skills which can help them into further education and employment.

Heart of the Community ? Porlock Gardens

The project is to employ a part-time volunteer co-ordinator for 20 hours per week for a twelve month period.  The co-ordinator will manage 40 volunteers and organise training, as well as establish links with schools and external agencies
