We would like to run a hands-on volunteering programme for children and young people aged eight to 16, to teach them skills to improve their own life chances, as well as support the community.

Kentish Town City Farm - Covid19 Charity Fund

To cover the loss of income as the Community Farm is now not able to charge for certain activities (e.g pony rides), not open for public donations, loss of income from fundraising (May Day fundraiser), no group parties allowed and can't furlough all staff as need staff to care for animals.

Kentish Town City Farm Garden Project

The group will use the funding to deliver gardening and food growing activities. This will bring people together for positive social activities and improve well-being.

We want to support more local people with additional needs to volunteer in animal care and gardening to reduce isolation and learn skills.
