Driven by impact

This is not another to-do list app or luxury furniture shop. We're building something that makes a real difference to hundreds of thousands of people (already).

That's what makes us jump out of bed on a Monday morning, or put in the extra effort to really get it right.


Childish enthusiasm

We're working hard to deliver huge impact. We might as well get excited by it.

There's enough professional cynicism in the world, even in the charity sector. We're not interested in that.

We want to work with people who are obsessed with things, and are desperate to show off the cool stuff they've done.


Openness and transparency

We're working with sensitive data, vulnerable people and mission-critical systems.

Trust is everything. We're open about our mistakes, both internally and externally.

We don't hide problems, pretend we can do things we can't or avoid answering difficult questions.

What we look for in an interview

To make this easier for both us and you, we're going to be very clear about what we're looking for, and what we're not interested in.

  • 1. Plain language

    We'll take it as given that you're hard-working, details-oriented and a good communicator. Skip the buzzwords and the pre-prepared competency answers.

  • 2. Impressiveness

    We want to hear about the things you've done that no one else asked for, that no one else thought of, or that no one else could do.

  • 3. Excitement

    We want to talk about the things you're excited about or obsessed with. Even if they're a bit weird. Perhaps especially if they're a bit weird.

  • 4. Curiosity

    We know you won't have heard much about us. We'd be surprised if you didn't have questions about what we do, how we work and what we're aiming for.

  • 5. Ambition

    Finally, we're looking for people who have big ambitions for themselves, and who are happy to think big about the impact they can have. We'll do our best to help you get there.
