How Plinth helped them to bring together client information across sessions and across projects into one place.
Camden Disability Action is a user-led organisation which aims to promote the equality of deaf and disabled people living or working in Camden.
We originally found out about Plinth through the Camden Advice Network. We had been receiving referrals for people who needed support, and found it quite useful. I was starting a new project and on my manager's suggestion, decided to use Plinth for case management.
Before using Plinth, we didn't have a platform or anything set up. I was just using a Word document to keep a diary of support and basic case notes. It was a bit old fashioned.
We wanted to use Plinth to make it a bit easier to keep on top of things, and to use some of the other bits and pieces like the reporting.

How did you get set up?
We brought in a consultant to help us get set up, which was really helpful.
Was it an improvement on your previous system?
It's just really easy to use and accessible. I'm focused on the clients and getting on with the job, I don't really care for any of the CRM stuff, so it's really good that it's so easy to use.
What are your thoughts overall?
I've used other case management systems. They do the job, but they're just a bit fiddly.
Plinth is a lot simpler. It's not lacking, it's got the same features, it's just a lot easier to use.
How has it impacted your organisation as a whole?
We're much better organised. It's a lot more cohesive. It gives us the ability to see what is going on in other spheres.
I'm not always completely aware of what else is happening in the organisation, I have a vague sense, but not of exactly who they are working with. Plinth lets me see a more holistic picture, because the client details can be shared across different projects.
Any advice for people wanting to get started with Plinth?
Just give it a go. It's easy to use.
